2. Huawei :Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei is second in this list. According to Counterpoint Research, the company's global share stood at 15.8 percent by the end of 2019 quarter 2. The company shipped 56.7 million units with a year-on-year growth of 4.6 percent.
3. Apple : The Cupertino-based tech company Apple, with 10.3 percent market share, shipped the most smartphones to the third name. However, the company has got a drop in 2019 quarter 2. The company had a market share of 11.3 percent in 2018 quarter 2.
4. Xiaomi : With a marginal increase of 0.9 percent year-on-year in 2019 Quarter 2, Xiaomi has secured the fourth position in the Global Smartphone Market share ranking. Its global market share stood at 9 percent in this quarter.
5. Oppo : China's company Oppo was at number 5 in this list. The company had a market share of 8.1 percent by the end of the second quarter of 2019. Its year-on-year growth has fallen by 2 percent.
